Woah, a title in Latin! What's it supposed to mean?
Actually, that's the beginning verse of the last canto of the "Inferno", from the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.
I hope you all heard about this poem, written by the florentine Alighieri towards the end of the 13th century - in case you didn't, they even made a videogame out of it, Dante's Inferno.
Well, this is our beloved Lucifer, shown while having a little snack with Judas (red face), Brutus and Cassius (yellow and brown face).
He dwells within the frozen waters of river Cocitus, the lowest part of Hell, frozen by Lucifer himself using his three pairs of wings, which spread a cold wind all over the surface of the water.
Trapped in the ice, there lie the traitors of family and authority.
